What Vitamin B2 Deficiency Looks Like

Suzy Cohen, AKA America’s Pharmacist and natural health educator is full of a ton of information. I try to check up on her findings regularly. Today she posted this little tid bit on Facebook, so I thought I would pass it along.

“Don’t assume people with bloodshot eyes are drunk or hung over. Sometimes people with bloodshot eyes are deficient in riboflavin (vitamin B2). Deficiencies cause light-sensitivity, blurred vision, watery/sore eyes and mouth sores. There are about 200 drug muggers out there! Bloodshot eyes also occur in people with sleep apnea, those who use computers a lot, and people who live in high altitudes.” Suzy Cohen

I assumed that my blood shot eyes may just be because I was often tired, even when I got enough sleep. But what I found was when I began supplementing with  more B2  my eyes cleared up too.  If eyes are the windows to the soul, I want mine to be as clear as clear can be. How about you?
